Often we talk about the Loan Fund's work in terms of dollars lent.  Dollars and cents don't give a face to the human element in our work and the effect that community investing has on our neighbors and in our hearts.

“Thank you for taking the time to review my STARS application. Getting my packet in the mail is going to feel like such an accomplishment.”

“I want to thank you again for meeting with us yesterday. I for one felt very encouraged by talking with you. We all appreciate the information you gave us and are already starting forward with the initial steps for the infant/toddler program. We have started on the survey and Stephanie, our director, was going to put in a call to the licensing department today. I will pass on all this information you attached today and speak with the rest of the board about meeting with you to start our business plan. I am guessing we will want to move forward sooner rather than later. I will be in touch soon.”

“I'm taking a few moments to share my gratitude for the much needed assistance I received today. The accountant who did our payroll last year was diagnosed with cancer at the end of the year. I had given him a payroll audit for the past year in March, and this week I received a notice that it hadn't been filed and was given a week to do so. I learned yesterday my accountant is currently in Texas receiving cancer treatments and his employees are swamped and backed up with tax returns, including ours. I was informed by one of his employees they couldn't help me at this time. In comes Cindy Daniels! She walked in and with a few strokes of the keys, along with my payroll and quarterly reports, she made a spreadsheet and was able to pull the numbers and info I needed to get the audit in! I must convey the stress I had been working under in trying to get this audit completed, worried I was going to have my workman's comp. canceled and pay extra fees. Cindy is an asset to our business as through her I have learned and am still learning all the details of our business liabilities instead of relying on an accountant. Please share my note with anyone connected to Cindy and the structure of her program. I want them to know how valuable this service is to a business such as ours. We have been greatly improved through her efforts.Thank you for Project SUCCESS and introducing Cindy to us!”
