Congratulations to VCLF staffer Becca Schrader, promoted to a new role as Technical Assistance and Government Programs Manager. Previously serving as Child Care Programs' Loan Coordinator, she's now responsible for coordinating and reporting on VCLF's technical assistance program, serving as liaison with federal and state agencies including USDA Rural Development and the Small Business Administration.

And conGRADulations to VCLF Business Programs Specialist Cindy Daniels, who graduated last month from the Snelling Center for Government's Early Childhood Leadership Institute, a six-month program providing personal and professional development to Vermont's early care community. "The program really added to my understanding of the many early childhood issues in Vermont and the challenges and opportunities they present from a systems perspective," Cindy says.

We're also thrilled to introduce our newest VCLF intern, Brooke Jenkins, University of Vermont junior, economics student and member of UVM's Women's Soccer team. Brooke comes to us through Professor (and former VCLF Board Member!) Jane Knodell's Money and Banking seminar, which incorporates a community internship. At VCLF, Brooke puts her extraordinary energy to work fielding and analyzing surveys of our investors and Child Care Loan Program borrowers. Thank you, Brooke!
