Save the date! On Thursday, August 1st, Burlington’s Intervale Center will host another evening from its popular summer Summervale series, celebrating their long-time partnership with and support from the Vermont Community Loan Fund.

JOIN US! At 4:30, friends of the Loan Fund will take a tour of the Intervale’s greenhouses, farmers’ complex and community farms and talking about VCLF’s role in financing local food and farms throughout Vermont.

Afterwards, we’ll stroll back up to the farmstead to join in the Summervale festivities. You’ll be our guest for a casual dinner, refreshments and entertainment including American Flatbread pizzas, mushroom tastings and music by the Fontanelles and Joe Adler & the Rangers of Danger.

Summervale, an annual weekly series running June through September and arguably among Vermont’s premier summer festivals, showcases local foods, local music and the impressive agricultural resource that is the Intervale. The Intervale is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving farm viability, promoting sustainable land use and engaging community members in the local food system. Come join us ”“ and bring a friend who would like to learn more about the Loan Fund!
